You might be wondering, “Why spring?” The answer is simple: c ollaboration and innovation . By gathering in the spring, we’re opening the door to fresh ideas and creative solutions. This shift is designed to help all of us work together more effectively, share best practices, and spark new approaches to improving school nutrition programs across New York State. What to Expect in Syracuse While the timing has changed, our commitment to supporting your work remains stronger than ever. Here’s what you can look forward to at the 2026 NYSNA Annual Conference : ■ Vendor Marketplace: Although there won’t be a traditional food show this spring, we’re excited to host a vibrant vendor marketplace. You’ll have dedicated time to connect with manufacturers, service providers, and suppliers who are eager to help you tackle your biggest challenges. ■ Networking Opportunities: The conference will feature plenty of chances to meet with peers, exchange ideas, and build relationships that last beyond the event. ■ Educational Sessions: Expect engaging workshops and presentations focused on the latest trends, regulations, and creative strategies for school nutrition. ■ Spotlight on Innovation: This year’s theme is all about thinking outside the box. Whether you’re looking for new menu ideas, smarter procurement strategies, or ways to boost student engagement, you’ll find inspiration around every corner. Food shows: Coming This Fall If you’re a fan of the traditional food show, don’t worry—it’s not going away!
