Hello, Area F! I am the Food Service Director for Massena Central School District, where I lead a dedicated team committed to nourishing both the minds and bodies of students. With a strong foundation in student support services, I previously served for six years as a School Social Worker within the district, collaborating with students, families, educators, and administrators to foster environments where every child could thrive both academically and emotionally. Drawing on my social work background, I bring a unique, empathetic approach to school nutrition - ensuring that every meal is not only healthy and balanced but also served in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. My work is driven by a deep passion for equity and student well-being, informed by firsthand insight into the challenges many families face. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy walking my dogs, gardening, and reading. I remain actively engaged in my community and am always seeking new ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. ~ Kristin ~
