Schools are increasingly searching for new ways to give students a voice and find what really matters to them. Dairy and plants complement one another quite well, and when combined, can fulfill the nutrient void that many Americans, and students, are lacking. Milk and other dairy foods like cheese and yogurt are key sources for calcium, Vitamin D and potassium. Plants, meanwhile, provide fiber and iron.
